Supplementing his portfolio management experience, Warren Lammert holds membership with the CFA Institute.

The CFA Institute serves the core investment management industry and works to promote the highest standards of education, ethics, and professional excellence. In doing so, it offers opportunities for members to earn Continuing Education (CE) credits through webinars and at select conferences. One of its upcoming conferences is Wealth Management 2020: Skills and Strategies for Private Clients, which takes place from March 24-26 at The Westin Seattle in Seattle, Washington.

Hosted in conjunction with the CFA Society Seattle, the three-day conference focuses on topics such as client-relationship management, practice management, and financial planning. Attendees can earn up to 11 CE credits through sessions such as "The Future of Financial Advice," "Red Light, Green Light: Investment Risk Profiling for Smarty Pants," and "Beyond Wealth Management: Helping Clients in Distress." There's also an optional interactive post-conference workshop titled "Emotional Intelligence and Wealth Management," in which participants work in small groups to sharpen their communication skills.
