About Warren Lammert - Investment Entrepreneur and Philanthropist
For 15 years, Warren Lammert has led as the founding CEO and chief investment officer (CIO) of Granite Point Capital in Boston, Massachusetts. He oversees the management of an investment portfolio valued at $300 million, which he channels into both public and private companies. Warren Lammert comes to this role following a decade-and-a-half at Colorado's Janus Capital Group, where he served as a portfolio manager. Warren Lammert draws on close to 35 years of experience in financial services. He received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Yale University and accumulated pre-professional experience as a research associate at Fred Alger Management, which then offered him a full-time associate analyst position. He went on to earn a Master of Science in economic history at the London School of Economics and Political Science, from which he graduated with distinction in 1989. Warren Lammert also has made significant contributions to the epilepsy community. He is not only the father of a young woman with Dravet syndrome, a seizure disorder, but also the co-founder of the Epilepsy Therapy Project and Epilepsy.com. Both now operate as part of the Epilepsy Foundation, which honored his work at its 2013 World Changers Gala.
