Possessing more than three decades of experience in the financial industry, Warren Lammert founded Granite Point Capital in 2004. Due to his extensive background in investing, Warren Lammert was asked to be featured in the book Wizards of Wall Street: Market-Beating Insights and Strategies from the World’s Top Performing Mutual Fund Managers, authored by Kirk Kazanjian.

In the book, Kazanjian profiles 18 notable investment executives from around the world. Published in 2000, Wizards of Wall Street offers insights gleaned from one-on-one interviews. The book provides an in-depth examination of the careers of these financial professionals and the qualities that they share. Featuring a question-and-answer format, Wizards of Wall Street concentrates on their unique styles and backgrounds.

Kirk Kazanjian is a personal finance author and mutual fund analyst who has written approximately two-dozen books. He has been interviewed by Bloomberg and CNBC. In addition, he has been featured in a number of business publications such as Fortune and Entrepreneur.

A portfolio manager and philanthropist in Boston, Massachusetts, Warren Lammert balances a career in the finance industry with a commitment to charitable initiatives. He focuses much of his philanthropic efforts on advancing new therapies for epilepsy and stands out as the founder of epilepsy-related nonprofit initiatives such as Epilepsy.com and the Epilepsy Therapy Project. Both initiatives have since been incorporated into the Epilepsy Foundation of America where Warren Lammert served as the immediate past chairman and currently serves as a member of the board. Over the years, Warren Lammert has received numerous accolades for his charitable and philanthropic efforts, including the Epilepsy New England Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also received recognition from the New York University FACES Charity, the Epilepsy Foundation, and the Danny Did Foundation. Mr. Lammert’s support of epilepsy research also extends to his professional life. As the co-founder and chairman of Tevard Biosciences, he leads a company developing gene therapies for Dravet syndrome and other rare disorders. He also serves as a board member for epilepsy-research companies Cerebral Therapeutics and Engage Therapeutics and served as a board member of Biscayne Neurotherapeutics, recently acquired by Supurnus. In addition to his work in the field of epilepsy research, Mr. Lammert has led a distinguished career in the finance industry. A longtime portfolio manager in Denver, Colorado, he has led Granite Point Capital in Boston since founding the company in 2004.
